Parenchyma forms major component within the organs. The cells of Parenchyma are generally isodiametric. They may be spherical, oval, round or elongated in shape. Their wall are thin & made up of cellulose.
Collenchyma occurs in layers below the epidermis in dicotyledonous plants collenchymatous cells may be oval, spherical & often contains chloroplast.
Sclerenchyma consists of long, narrow cells with thick & lignified cell walls having a few or numerous pits. Fibers are thick-walled, elongated & pointed cells generally occurs in groups, in various parts of plant.
