Partial parasitic plants are usually chlorophyllous therefore they are dependent on their hosts for water and nutrients only. Rest of the job is being done by their green leaves. Dendropthoe falcata, Viscum album, Santalum album etc. are the examples of partial parasites.

parasite plants which are depend on both their host and also make their own food are called partial parasitic plants. ex. pitcher plant ( all insectivoures plants are parasite)
