In 1935 ,there was a split in the Indian National Congress between the hindus and muslims forming  two parties.This split occurred  during the beginning of the Second World War as they had to decide if the Indians wold support the British Government during the war.The parties formed were One the Congress while the other being Muslim league.
With the split in opnion the Muslim League celebrated  22 December 1939 as the deliverance day from the Congress.
In march 1940,the muslim league demanded the creation of Pakisthan by dividing the nation into two ,under the guidance of Mohamed Ali Jinnah.
