There are 8 parts of speech :
- Noun : Any word that tells us about the name place animal or thing of an object or a person is called a noun.
For example : Sam is a lovely girl.
Here, sam is a noun.
- Pronoun : Words that are used instead of nouns are called Pronouns.
For example : She is a weird kid.
Here, he is a pronoun.
- Verb : Words that describe about the action of anything are termed as nouns.
For example : She loves doodling.
Here, doodling is a verb.
- Adverb : Words that modify a verb are called adverbs.
For example : You've done it quickly.
Here, quickly is an adverb.
- Adjective : Words that describe a noun are called adjectives.
For example : I've many bands.
Here, many is an adjective.
- Preposition : Words that describe about the place of an object are called prepositions.
For example : The cat is cuddling under the table.
Here, under is a preposition.
- Conjunction : Words that join two or more sentences are called conjunctions.
