Pascal's law

• Pascal's Law states that pressure exerted inside a liquid is distributed equally in all directions everywhere such that its effect everywhere is the same.

• It also means that the increase in pressure at any point inside the liquid produces an increase in pressure of an equal amount everywhere inside it.

• Pressure at all points are same.

P1 = P2 = P3

Applications of Pascal's law:

• hydraulic lift

• hydraulic brakes
