The periscope is a device for observation. It helps to observe a given object if the object can not be seen through direct sight with line of sight. Kaleidoscope is also an optical device which is used for observing the repeated form of reflection of a given object.

Kalediscope - an device in which bits of glass, held loosely at the end of a rotating tube, are shown in continually changing symmetrical forms by reflection in two or more mirrors set at angles to each other. They are used to show reapeated paterns in different colours.
