Answer:
PH SCALE
Explanation:
PH, quantitative measure of the acidity or basicity of aqueous or other liquid solutions. The term, widely used in chemistry, biology, and agronomy, translates the values of the concentration of the hydrogen ion—which ordinarily ranges between about 1 and 10−14 gram-equivalents per litre—into numbers between 0 and 14

Answer:
pH scale:-
- pH scale is a universal indicator .
- It is used to determine the concentration of Hydrogen ion in a mixture.
- The letter p of the word pH is taken from the German word 'Potenz' .
- Potenz means power .
How to use:
- We can determine the pH of a mixture from 0 to 14 .
- 0 means highly acidic .
- 14 Means highly basic .
- If the concentration of Hydrogen ion stay higher then the pH value will be low.
- If pH value is under 7 then the mixture is acidic.
- if pH value is over 7 then the mixture is basic
- pH=7 means neutral mixture.
