The photo electric effect is discovered by Max Planck , Einstein .

According to photo electric effect:-

When light having a threshold frequency is projected on a metal surface the electrons is ejected from its surfaces.

Most of the energy of electrons is spend in kinetic energy to overcome the attractions force of metal and get escape from metal surface .

For photo electric effect the light must have threshold frequency.
