non-cyclic photophosphorylation The light-requiring part of photosynthesis in higher plants, in which an electron donor is required, and oxygen is produced as a waste product. It consists of two photoreactions, resulting in the synthesis of ATP and NADPH 2.

Photophosphorylation is where phosphorylation of ATP used to produce ATP in the presence of sunlight. Non photophosphorylation is a process where the light is needed in photosynthesis part which is in higher plants. The electron donor is essential and oxygen is produced as a waste.
Both the process is performed in higher plants. Both are required to complete the life cycle and to produce energy in the form of ATP. This process is followed in cyclic manner as well as in a non-cyclic manner. ATP stands for “adenosine triphosphate” which is a product which provides energy to the plant to perform their work. It is followed by all the higher plants. in this process plant produce their food.
