⭐Photosynthesis is the biochemical process in which energy from sunlight is converted by plants, algae, into sugars.

⭐It is the process by which plants and other things make food.

⭐It is a chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars that the cell can use as energy.

⭐The energy absorbed by the chlorophyll is used to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen.

⭐The process by which green plants make their own food from carbon-dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

⭐During this process oxygen gas is released.

⭐Example of photosynthesis is

➡ plants convert sugar and energy from water, air and sunlight into energy to grow.

Hi

Here's your answer

Photosynthesis is the process plants use to take the energy from sunlight and use it to convert carbon dioxide and water into food.

Photosynthesis is generally done by green plants and some cynobacteria.

This process includes two stages:

1)Light phase

It's light dependent reaction that means it can take place only when there is light.

During this process light is captured by chlorophyll and then converted into ATP,which is used to create sugar and other compounds later.

2)Dark phase

Its light independent reaction that can take place in both day or night.

During this process the Carbon dioxide is reduced to carbohydrates

This process is also called Calvin's Cycle.

So we get that photosynthesis requires sunlight, carbon dioxide and water and use chlorophyll for converting them into food that is source of energy for their existence.

Thanks
