photosynthesis is a chemical process in which chlorophyll uses sunlight energy to convert synthesize water and atmospheric carbon dioxide into life sustaining organic compound such as glucose .

6CO2+6H2O+light energy =C6H12O6+6O2

hope it helps u

Hiiii friends!!!!

Let's analyze this important biological process.

This process is usually done by green plants.
They contain green pigment called chlorophyll.
Chloroplasts are what makes leaves green, and they are also what takes the carbon dioxide, the water, and the light, and turns them into sugar and oxygen.

The sugar is then used by the plants for food, and the oxygen is breathed out into the atmosphere. This process as a whole is 'photosynthesis'.

The reaction involved in this process is as follows:-

carbon dioxide + water —> glucose + oxygen + water.

A balanced chemical equation for the process can be written as 6CO2 + 6H2O —> C6H12O6 + 6O2.

After all, photosynthesis uses light energy to convert carbon dioxide into a carbohydrate.

I hope its enough to make ur concept strong!!!
