Photosynthesis => photosynthesis is the process in which the leaves prepare their food in the presence of sunlight , chlorophyll ,water and carbon dioxide . This occur only in green plants bcoz of the presence of chlorophyll.

Transpiration => Transpiration is the process by which plants lose water in the vapour, from the aerial parts of the plant.

PHOTOSYNTHESIS

This process is being carried out mainly by autotrophs. This word is formed by the combination of two words, photo - light and synthesis - to prepare..It is a process by which green plants prepare their own food by using raw materials like carbon dioxide ( Co2 ) oxygen ( O2 ) water ( H2O ) sunlight absorbed by the chlorophyll and minerals.

The process can by shown with this equation -

Co2 + H2O + Solar energy --> C6H12O6 + O2

TRANSPIRATION

Its a process by which leaves of the tree loss water due to heat of the sun. This process mainly carries out during the summer season, and helps in the process of water cycle too.
