⭐Photosynthesis is the biochemical process in which energy from sunlight is converted by plants, algae, into sugars.

⭐It is the process by which plants and other things make food.

⭐It is a chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars that the cell can use as energy.

⭐The energy absorbed by the chlorophyll is used to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen.

⭐The process by which green plants make their own food from carbon-dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

⭐During this process oxygen gas is released.

⭐Example of photosynthesis is

➡ plants convert sugar and energy from water, air and sunlight into energy to grow.

Photosynthesis is build-up or anabolic process that forms organic substances from inorganic materials with the help of light energy.

Photosynthesis occurs during day time. However, it's rate is several times the rate of respiration so that during day time there is net absorption of carbon dioxide and Nate release of oxygen by photosynthetic cells.

Photosynthesis has four basic requirements are chlorophyll, carbon dioxide, water and light. They are also called raw materials of photosynthesis.

Photosynthesis age of biochemical process of manufacture of organic food from carbon dioxide and water with the help of solar energy inside chlorophyll containing cells. Oxygen is liberated. Simple carbohydrate or sugar is the main product from which other organic substances are formed. Excess of glucose is stored as starch. It functions as energy food reaches to be used as and when required. It is similar to storage of glycogen as energy reserve in our body. Most of the photosynthesis occurs in leaves which are green in colour due to chlorophyll.
