Phototropism :- When the movement or growth of plant is towards the direction of light is termed as phototropism.

Example :- Shoots of plants growing towards the direction of light upwards.

There are also

Geotropism :- Response to gravity.

Example :- Growth of roots is downwards.

Hydrotropism :- Response to water.

Example :- Growth of roots are towards the direction of water available in ground.

Chemotropism :- Response to chemical.

Example:- Growth of pollen tube towards ovule.

and Thigmotropism :- Response to stimuli.

Example :- Touch me not plant it response when we touch it and the leave get closed.
