Physical change is a change from one state (solid or liquid or gas) to another without a change in chemical composition.

Example- Ice melting involves a change from a solid to a liquid and the substances maintain the properties of water because the molecules never change.

Physical change:-

Those changes in which no new substance are formed are called physical change.

The physical changes are temporary changes which can be revesed easily to form the original substance.

For ex :- melting of wax, melting of ice, tearing of paper etc.
