Pitch is the the characteristic of sound which distinguishes between a shrilled sound and soft sound.Higher the frequency of the vibration,the higher the pitch.The pitch of sound depends on-:
•The frequency(the higher frequency the higher the pitch).
•The length of vibrating column.
•The thickness of vibrating strip.
•Shrillness
Quality of sound is that characteristic which enables us to distinguish between musical notes emitted by different musical instruments.
