a rational number is said to be positive if it's numerator and denominator are of the same sign.

a number is called a rational number if it can be written in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to zero .

what is positive rational no.

=> positive rational number is a number where both the P and Q having the same sign .

like :- 4/14

Example :-

2/1 here p =2 and q=1

and also the Q is not equal to zero .

and p and q are integers , so it is a rational number .

=> the number is said to be in irrational if it cannot be written in the form of p/q where the P and q are integers and Q is not equal to zero .

=> if we see between two numbers are there also Infinity numbers so to find some rational number between two number we have to use formula

=> The formula is :- n+1/2

=> draw a line first.
=> then , divide it into equal parts
=> then mark the left hand side with negative integers and the right hand side with positive integers
=> the 0 must be in middle .
