In case of democracy,power can be shared in many ways. It can be shared among different organs of the government namely the legislature, judiciary and the executive; there can be a tier system; it can be shared on the basis of language or community or diverse political parties or communities distribute power. These are the cases of horizontal power sharing, vertical power sharing and sharing among groups.
