Presbyopia is that defect of vision due to which an old age person cannot see the nearby objects clearly due to loss of power of accommodation of the eye. In old age , the ciliary muscles becoming weak and the eye lens loses some of its elasticity and the eye loses its power of accommodation.
The near point of the most old person having presbyopia gradually recedes and become much more than 25 CM away.
By using spectacles having convex lenses we can Correct this defect .

it is a defect of an eye in which a person is not able to see far and nearby objects clearly it can be correct by using bifocal lenses this diseases is cause generally in aged people..
