Answer:

Force applied per unit area is known as pressure

Pressure ∝ force

Pressure ∝ 1/area

Pressure can be measured in Pascal(S.I. unit) or erg (1 Pa = 10⁷erg) or in bar

(1 Pa = 1/100000 bar)

Pressure depends upon the altitudes as the pressure of gas changes with a change in density. It also depends on the temperature as the gas compresses or expands with a change in temperature resulting in a change in pressure.

hope it helps :)
