Project means throw
i .e , throwing objects other than Verficle
When you throw any object other than in Verticle direction, it becomes a Projectile .
if An object is thrown Vertically upward, it goes up Straight and after attaining the maximum height it starts falling down in a straight path .
So such motion is one dimensional motion
for Example throwing a ball in upward direction
But when you thrown a ball from window It makes a projectile and such motion of ball called projectile motion
The Path travelled / followed by the object is called Trajactery and shape of the Trajectory is Parabollic
.
The time taken by the object in its traJactoryIs called Time of flight .
