A projectile motion is the motion of an object when it is thrown upward and it comes down with its own inertia due to the gravitational pull.(moves in a curve path while falling).

hope this helps you...:)

Hey mate..
========

☆Define projectile motion ?☆

▪A Projectile motion is a predictable path travelled by an object that is influenced only by its initial launch speed , launch angle and the acceleration due to gravity.

▪Simply speaking , Projectile Motion is the free fall motion of any body in a horizontal path with constant velocity.

▪From the pic, it can be seen that :-

Vx is the velocity along x-axis,

Vxo is the initial velocity along x-axis,

Vy is the velocity along y-axis,

Vyo is the initial velocity along y-axis.

g is the acceleration due to gravity

and

t is the time taken.

Hope it helps !!
