Properties of cathode rays are :-
1. It travels in straight line.
2. It produce fluoroscence ( properties of absorbing light of short wavelength).
3. Thes rays can ionize the gases... through which they are passed.
4. Cathode rays can penetrate ( go through) thin foil of metal.
