rate of change of velocity is called acceleration
acceleration=(change in velocity)/time
it's a vector quantity

HOLA!!!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

○ The rate of change of velocity is what we call acceleration.

○ Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity per unit time

○ Acceleration = change in velocity/ change in
time

= dv/dt
therefore acceleration is equal to
 =  \frac{dv}{dt}

○ we know that velocity is vector quantity so acceleration is also a vector quantity.

From physics I learnt:

°Acceleration is the derivative of velocity.
