Define Refining of Petroleum?

Hi friend,

As we know that Petroleum is a viscous and having very unpleasant odour in it and is a mixture of many other substances like petrol, petroleum gas, diesel, kerosene, etc. Refining of petroleum is separating various fractions of petroleum in fractionating column and it is done in Petroleum refinery.
