Reflection - Bouncing back of a light ray after hitting any surface is known as reflection

Refraction - Refraction is the bending of light rays when it travels from one medium to another.

Laws of Reflection

Laws of reflection are:

(i) The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal ray at the point of incidence, lie in the same plane.

(ii) The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection

Laws of Refraction

Laws of Refraction are :

1. The incident ray refracted ray, and the normal to the interface of two media at the point of incidence all lie on the same plane.

2. The ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence to the sine of the angle of refraction is a constant.

Hope it helped you
