Regnault’s Law states that the specific heat capacity of a gas at constant pressure (Cp) and the specific heat capacity of a gas at constant volume (Cv) do not change with change in pressure and temperature. According to this law, Cpand Cv values of a gas remain constant.

The specific heat of a gas at constant pressure is the same whatever the pressure.
