the physical quantity which opposes OR retards motion of electrons is known as resistance it's SI unit is ohm.

resistance is directly proportional to temperature.

as the temperature increases resistance of conductor increases.

and as the temperature decreases resistance of conductor decreases.

resistivity is the resistance of a material whose area of crossection is taken as 1mt .mt and lenght is also taken as unity. It's SI unit is ohm- mt.
