Basically we can say that the ratio of v and i is known as the resistance of the wire but in deep the property of wire in which there is a potential drop between two points then the wire or material between that two points are known as the resistance

And the word resistivity describes us the power or property of resistance in the material actually there may be a material contains same resistance but al the materials have their own resistivity
