hey!!

here is ur answer!!

===========================================

The obstruction offered by the flow of current in a material by the conductor or wise is called its resistance of a material.

The S.I unit of resistance is Ohm.

According to the ohm's law :

The current flowing in a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across its ends provided the physical conditions and the temperature of conductor remain constant.

i.e

current is directly proportional to pottential difference

therefore ,

potential difference / current = constant..

( We put constant equal to resistance [R] as the resistance of the conductor)

potential difference = V
current = I

V = IR

Therefore we can say that,

 The resistance of a conductor is numerically equal to the potential difference across its end when unit currrent flows through it..

unit of R = Unit of V/ Unit of I

               = volt / ampere

1 ohm = 1 volt/ 1 ampere

at last..

S.I unit of R = 1 ohm

hope this helps u!!

Explanation:

Resistance of a conductor is defined as the ratio of the potential difference applied across the conductor to the current flowing through it. Mathematically, R = V/i In S.I., its unit is ohm (Ω). 1 ohm = 1 volt ampere-1.
