Electrical resistivity is a physical attriibute of a material that defines how much it opposes the flow of electric current through itself.

It is the electrical resistance per unit length and per unit of cross-sectional area of any material, at a given temperature.

A low value means th e material is a good conductor of electricity, while a high value indicates that the material is a bad conductor of electricity.

The SI unit of electrical resistivity is Seimens Per Meter.
