The resistivity of a conductor is numerically equal to resistance of the conductor length is 1m and its production area is 1 m square.

SI unit of Resistivity is ohm* mrtrE

Thee resistivity does not varies with temperature while it varies with cross section area which is inversely proportional to its cross section area.
