Anything which satisfies human needs is a resource.
It is broadly classified as natural and human- made resources.
Resources found in nature are known as natural resources such as sun water etc.
Resources made by humans are known as man-made or human- made resources such as cars washing machine etc.

There are two types of resources -
Renewable Resources- the resources that last for a long time and can be replenished by natural process is called renewable resource . For eg.- water , sunlight e.c.t.
Non-renewable resources- the resources that last for a certain period of time and cannot be replenished by natural process is called non-renewable resource. For eg.- coal , petroleum e.t.c.
