RHIZOGENESIS; it is a kind of root response in drought or in extreme stress condition. in such unfavorable conditions, new roots that are formed by plants are short, hairless and are swollen. through such root structure plant can easily maintain turgor pressure and prevent itself from dehydration.
CAULOGENESIS; on the other hand caulogenesis is a shoot response in drought and extreme stress condition. this behavior is adaptive so that plant can survive in stress condition.
