Ribosomes are site for protein synthesis and lipid synthesis. Ribosomes also present on rough endoplasmic reticulum . Ribosomes are of two type 70s and 80s. 70s present in all prokaryotes and 80s present in all eukaryotes .

  • A ribosome is a complicated molecular mechanism found inside live cells that produces proteins from amino acids as part of the protein synthesis or translation process.
  • Protein synthesis is a fundamental action carried out by all living cells.
  • Ribosomes are cell organelles that may be found in both bacterial and eukaryotic cells.
  • Ribosomes are necessary for the creation of proteins in every live cell.
  • This cell organelle also performs duties such as binding to messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) and decoding the information provided by the mRNA's nucleotide sequence.
  • They transmit amino acid-containing RNAs (RNAs) to the ribosome's acceptor site.
  • It binds to tRNA and then adds amino acids to the developing protein chain.
