Answer 1 : Rust is an iron oxide, a usually reddish brown oxide formed by the reaction of iron and oxygen in the presence of water or air moisture.

Four measures to be taken to prevent rusting is :

1. Use an alloy

2. Galvanize

3. Store properly

4. Paint the metal

Answer 2 : The raw materials required for photosynthesis is sunlight, water and carbon dioxide.

The sources of these materials are :

1. Sunlight - Sun.

2. Water - In the soil.

3. Carbon dioxide - Present in the air.

Hope this helps, Pls mart is as brainliest if it is.. :D

Rust= A reddish or yellowish - brown flaking coating of iron oxide that is fromed on iron or steel by oxidation especially in the presence of mositure is called rust .

Four measures=

1)Keep it clean and dry.Water is enemy number one when it comes to the rust , because it's the oxygen in water molecules that combine with iron to from iron oxide.

2)Prevant scratchs= scratchs or cracks in metal expose more metal and hold water, allowing it to reamin in a contact of iron.

3)Apply a protective coating = Dipping metal objects, such as clocks ,into a bluing solution of water, sodium, hydrooxide ,and potassium nitrite provide strong corrosion resistance.

2)The raw material for photosynthesis are carbon dioxide, water . The Green plants take carbon dioxide from air for photosynthesis. The carbon dioxide gas enters the leaves of the trough stomata presant on thier surface . The water required by the plants for photosynthesis is absorbed by the roots of the plant from the soil with the process osmoiss.
