Simple Hormonic Motion(SHM) is a periodic motion where the force that is restored is directly proportional to the displacement.
Two properties are-
1) It is motion which moves in a straight line.
2) The body returns to the same point with regular intervals of time or with the same velocity.
Thanks I hope it helps you.....

S.H.M stands for Simple harmonic motion.A body is said to be in S.H.M if its displacement or acceleration is directly proportional to restoring force at any instant.

Properties.

i) In S.H.M displacement or acceleration is directly proportional to reatoring force at any instant of time.

ii) A body experiencing S.H.M always repeats its motion.
