Answer:

Side-Angle-Side test

Step-by-step explanation:

Side-Angle-Side is a rule used to prove whether a given set of triangles are congruent. ... If two sides and the included angle of one triangle are equal to two sides and included angle of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.

Answer:

If one angle of a triangle is equal to one angle of another triangle and the sides including these two angles are in proportion then the triangles are similar.....This is called SAS (Side Angle Side) similarity criterion.....

Step-by-step explanation:

For example :

There are two triangles ΔABC and ΔPQR

In ΔABC,       In ΔPQR,

∠A=70°          ∠P=70°

AB=5cm        PQ=10cm

BC=6cm        QR=12cm

Here,

∠A=∠P=70°     (angles are equal)

and

AB/PQ=5/10=1/2     (sides are in proportion 1:2)

BC/QR=6/12=1/2     (sides are in proportion 1:2)

Proof :

cut PX=AB

     QY=BC

and join XY

now, XY║QR

and ΔABC≅ΔPXY     (by SAS congruency    ∠A=∠P, AB=PX, BC=QY)

so, ∠A=∠P, ∠B=∠Q, ∠C=∠R

this is because ∠Q is corresponding to ∠X

    (XY║QR, PQ as transversal)

similarly, ∠R is corresponding to ∠Y

    (XY║QR. PR as transversal)

Hope this answer was helpful.....

Thank you.....
