Hey there!

=> The physical quantity which has only magnitude is Known as scalar quality. Ex - mass, length, time and work etc.

=> Physical quantities which have both magnitude and direction are called vector quantities. Example: force, velocity, displacement, magnetic field etc.

=> Distance is the length of the path covered by a moving object . It's SI unit is meters.

=> When a body moves from one point to another point , the short distance between the initial position and final position of the body, along with direction is Known as displacement.

=> Speed is the distance covered by the object in unit time.

=> The velocity of an object is the rate of change of its position with respect to a frame of reference, and is a function of time. Velocity is equivalent to a specification of its speed and direction of motion (e.g. 60 km/h to the north).

=> Acceleration of a body is defined as the rate of change of its velocity with time.

i.e Acceleration = Change in velocity/Time taken for change

or a=(v-u)/t

SI unit is m/s².

=> If an object moving in a straight line covers equal distances in equal interval of time, it is said to be uniform motion along a straight line.

=> When a body is not moving in a fixed speed then then it is Known as no-uniform motion.

Hope it helped!☺️

Scalar: Volume, mass, speed, density, number of moles, angular frequency

Vector: Acceleration, velocity, displacement, angular velocity

DEFINITION OF SCALAR QUANTITY:-

A scalar quantity is specified by its magnitude only. It does not have any direction associated with it. Volume, mass, speed, density, number of moles, and angular frequency are some of the scalar physical quantities.

DEFINITION OF VACTOR QUANTITY:-

A vector quantity is specified by its magnitude as well as the direction associated with it. Acceleration, velocity, displacement, and angular velocity belong to this category.

I hope, this will help you
