Many mammals living in natural wild condition exhibit menstruation and oestrus cycle only during their favourable seasons in their reproductive phase. such mammals are called Seasonal breeders. while many other mammals continue to show menstrual cycle or oestrus cycle through out their Reproductive phase and thus they are known as Continuous breeders. common example of continuous breeders are human female.
