Newton's first law of motion also known as the law of inertia states that when an object is at rest it will remain at rest until there is an amount of force applied to bring it to motion or move it.
Second law of motion states that if an unbalanced force is acted on an object the object will experience acceleration or deceleration that is the change in its speed

FIRST LAW OF MOTION;
A body continues its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless an external force acts on it.
SECOND LAW OF MOTION;
The rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to force applied and change in momentum is along the direction of applied force.
Hope it helped
