a semi permeable membrane is a special membrane which only allows particles of a particular size to pass through it. Any particle of a greater size will not be allowed to pass through the membrane.

The three examples are.

  1. plasma membrane ( cell membrane)
  2. root hairs
  3. outer membrane covering of raisins

Answer:

A semipermeable membrane is a type of biological or synthetic, polymeric membrane that will allow certain molecules or ions to pass through it by diffusion—or occasionally by more specialized processes of facilitated diffusion, passive transport or active transport.

Examples:

1) The cell membrane of the cell.

2) The inner membrane of the egg.

3) The membrane of osmosis.

Hope it helps.
