Simple Pendulum - It is a device in which heavy point mass (Bob) is suspended by an Inextensible thread from a fixed support and is allowed to swing freely under the influence of gravity. In simple pendulum, to and fro motion of same length are of the same duration of time.

Batter - It is a combination of two or more cells. In a batter, the positive terminal of one cells is connected to the negative terminal of the next cell.

Compound Microscopic - It is used for viewing the microscopic objects or organism which are not seen by the naked eyes.

Cover Slip - It is acchi square or round glass piece used to cover specimen kept on the slide. It avoids the contact of the specimen with lens of microscope.
