I don't know whether it is correct or not...But hope it helps...

Hope you know this formula for refraction \huge\frac {sin i}{sin r} . This is called the refractive index. When a light ray incidents obliquely on an optically denser medium to an optically rarer medium, it bends away from the normal.

And exactly the opposite happens when it incidents obliquely on an optically rarer medium to an optically denser medium.

Don't spam, I tried my best.

SNELL'S LAW STATES THAT : THE RATIO BETWEEN ANGLE OF INCIDENCE TO ANGLE OF REFRACTION IS A CONSTANT FOR THE GIVEN PAIR OF MEDIA.

sin i

____ = a constant

sin r

HOPE IT HELPS UU
