Socialists felt that whatever is produced, distributed and exchanged in a country or a region should be controlled or regulated by a community of that area as a whole not a particular person.
Socialism also says that everyone should be given equal wealth and status regardless of their social background. Socialists believe that the state should be looking after the economy of a region not a person in particular.
