a solution is a homogenous mixture of 2 or more substances

characteristics
1. a solution is a homogenous mixture
2. the particles of the solution is less than 1nm in diameter. so they can't be seen through naked eyes
3. because of very small particle size they do not scatter a beam of light passing through the solution so the path of the light is not visible in a solution
4. the solute particles can't be separated through the process of filtration the solute particles do not settle down when left undisturbed that is it is stable

hope it helped u plz mark as brainliest and follow me

⭐ SOLUTION - A solution is a homogeneous mixture of a solute in a solvent whose composition may be gradually changed by changing the relative amounts of the components. It can be dilute, concentrated as well as saturated, unsaturated and super-saturated.

⭐ SOLUTION = SOLUTE + SOLVENT.

⭐ A solution which is made of two, three or four components are called as binary, ternary and quaternary solutions respectively.

⭐ CHARACTERISTICS :

1) It is a homogeneous mixture.
2) The solute particles are very small.
3) It is clear and transparent.
4) Its components cannot be separated by filtration.
5) The solute particles in a solution do not settle down.
