* SOLVENT EXTRACTION = The partial removal of a substance from a solution or mixture by dissolving it in another, immiscible solvent in which it is more soluble.

* SATURATED SOLUTION = A saturated solution is a chemical solution containing the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in the solvent. The additional solute will not dissolve in a saturated solution.
