Sound is the form of energy. They are the vibrations which are transmitted through air, water, solids and then can be heard when it reaches our ear.

Conditions needed to hear sound-

<>There must a recorder. (like a human ear).
<>There must be a transmitter.
<>There must be a source of sound like a vibrating body.


Characteristics of sound-
<>Sound is produced by a vibrating body.
<>Sound need a medium for propagation.
