Sound is a series of transverse waves.....which we cannot see but hear....The speed of sound is 336 metre per second.....Sound is dependent on various factors.....for the propagation of sound we need a material medium.....since sound cannot travel in vacuum......Sound is dependent on its frequency......sound has its different characteristics like pitch, timbre, noise, music, resonance,etc.....
