Speed = it is defined as the total distance covered by a body in per unit of time. It means speed = distance /time it is scaler quantity. Its SI unit is m/s. Velocity = it is define as the displacement of in per unit of time. It is vector quantity. Its SI unit is m/s. Distance = the length of the actual path covered by a body in time interval. It is scaler quantity. Displacement = the shortest distance between the initial point and final point. It is vector quantity.
